Writer's Block: Who will you be?
This year I'm going as Duo Maxwell. I already have the pants, shirt (with collar) and the shoes. Hopefully my hair will cooperate with me this time. And in true yaoi style, my husband is going as Heero Yuy. So yes, you will get to see Duo and Heero making out. ^.^ | | Wednesday, October 14th, 2009 | | 1:37 pm |

Taken from kc_anathema -- Feel free to comment here, saying, "WORDS!" if you want to do this meme. I'll give you five words that I associate with you, then you can go to your journal and elaborate on each of the words.Harry Potter - Hmm, yes. Considering this was the fandom that drove me over the edge into slash, I hold this fandom dear to my heart. I'll probably always be in this fandom, even though the series is over and the movies are getting near to it. geek - Really, I don't see how I can elaborate on this further as this is, of course, what I am. I am a geek. Well, to be more specific, I'm several kinds of geek. But to list them all would take up a good chunk of this post. 1776 - Ah, this is a fandom I really need to be more involved in. Historical!fanfic can just be so much fun. And the movie was awesome too. Oddly, a friend of mine and my husband said that 1776 reminded her of Monty Python. I'll have to ponder that one. slash - Well yes, that's really a given, isn't it? Me without slash is like the ocean without water. Since being married though, I feel like I've neglected my slash fiction. That and there's so many things I still need to read. *stares at A Long, Hard Road* slytherin - This is so totally my house and always will be. That and Snape and Draco are just... yeah. Something about the bad boys, I guess. | | Friday, May 1st, 2009 | | 1:00 pm |

Writer's Block: End of the World as We Know It
That is so easy. The world will end with the Dalek/Cyberman war. (Daleks fighting Cybermen, not them fighting together.) Of course, that would leave all the immortals alive, but that's okay because Methos and Duncan can hitch a ride with the Doctor. Also Jack Bauer, because he's immortal by default. | | Monday, April 13th, 2009 | | 1:48 pm |
A Letter
Dear Mother Nature, What do you have against breathing? What did my sinuses ever do to you? Really, this is no longer funny. If you could be so kind, please to be stopping with the Air Spores of Death, kthx. Hugs and Kisses, Mel | | Sunday, March 29th, 2009 | | 10:50 pm |

PLEASE SEND MUSIC
So, I'm compiling CDs for the wedding and my current music directory is... lacking. So I need suggestions for dance music! (This would be for the reception of course). Silly is okay as I'm a geek and geeky music at my wedding is to be expected. ^^ | | Sunday, March 1st, 2009 | | 11:05 pm |

P&P&Z Updates!
So you remember me mentioning the book Pride and Prejudice and Zombies? Did I also mention they're already looking to turn the book into a blockbuster movie? Did I also mention that Elton John's Rocket Pictures wants to do a made for tv movie called "Pride and Predator"? Yes, that Predator and yes, with the Pride and Prejudice plot. | | Tuesday, January 27th, 2009 | | 11:39 am |
Off the Epic scale!!
So what's better than Pride and Prejudice? Pride and Prejudice with ZOMBIES! Yeah, I'm not kidding. Taken from dreadcentral.com: Pride and Prejudice and Zombies features the original text of Jane Austen's beloved novel with all-new scenes of bone-crunching zombie action. As our story opens, a mysterious plague has fallen upon the quiet English village of Meryton—and the dead are returning to life! Feisty heroine Elizabeth Bennet is determined to wipe out the zombie menace, but she's soon distracted by the arrival of the haughty and arrogant Mr. Darcy. What ensues is a delightful comedy of manners with plenty of civilized sparring between the two young lovers—and even more violent sparring on the blood-soaked battlefield as Elizabeth wages war against hordes of flesh-eating undead. Aw yeah, I'm totally putting this on my book list. | | Wednesday, January 21st, 2009 | | 6:00 pm |

Georgia has now apparently passed something that says you can't fail a student for any reason. So yeah, the lowest grade they can get is a D. .... My brain, it fails. Also, Chris says he now wants to put the cat through school in Georgia. He wants her to have a high school diploma. Thanks Georgia! A dream come true! *thumbs up* | | Thursday, December 25th, 2008 | | 8:52 pm |
